Phase I – FLAT FEE of $2,800 due at signing

Series of 12 weekly meetings/telephone conferences (2 to 4 hrs each) with a Success Point Consultant covering the following topics (exact topics and homework assignments vary depending on your individual situation.  We tailor the program to fit your needs):

Week One: Personal Inventory of skills and interests; Identification of potential “business,” opportunities;

Homework: List of personal skills and interests; inventory of external resources that could be utilized for new business; SWOT Analysis

Week Two: Review SWOT Analysis; review list of internal and external resources; Review of competitive and market research strategies;

Homework: Market and competitive research; Identify an “Ideal” client; develop a U.S.P.

Week Three: Review Competitive Analysis and Market Research and U.S.P; Goal Setting – how to set SMART goals; why they are important, strategies that work to achieve goals

Homework: Set Goals; confidence boosters; motivational triggers

Week Four: Review Goals; Basic Budgeting; Elements of a Functional Business Plan

Homework: develop start-up budget; beginning draft of business plan

Week Five: Review budget; review business plan draft; review/revise target markets and niches; Introduction of the 5 critical business metrics

Homework: Continue working on business plan

Week Six: Back to Basics Review – business structures, banking, accounting systems, insurance needs, licensing, office space, equipment; Business Taxes and Deductions

Homework: Source everything needed to get the basic business house in order; continue working on business plan

Week Seven: Review business plan to-date; Development of Strategic Marketing Plans; identification of targets, methods of promotion, advertising, and marketing

Homework: Marketing Test Grids, tracking sheets; completion of business plan

Week Eight: Review business plan; Review Marketing Plans; Fundamentals of Copywriting and Design, developing messages and offers

Homework: Drafts of Ads, letters, brochures aimed at target markets;

Week Nine: Essentials of Time Management; Setting Priorities;

Homework: Identify time-wasters; Set marketing in place and start attracting clients!

Week Ten: Review of time-wasters and strategies to overcome; Discuss day-to-day internal operations; basics of employee or contractor management; team-building strategies

Homework: Identify “triggers” for outsourcing or employee needs; track early marketing efforts

Week Eleven: Customer Service Essentials – ways to exceed customer expectations; establish view of business from customer standpoint; surveys, customer feedback opportunities; Customer Contact Plan

Homework: Create strategy to determine and then exceed customer expectations; formalize a customer contact plan

Week Twelve: Networking Dos and Don’ts; Referral Strategies that go above and beyond the basics

Homework: Research organization and activities; attend at least 1 event; completion identified next steps

Continue Marketing, Continue Servicing Your Customers, Continue to Run Your Business All the Way to Your Success Point.

Phase II: Review and Reinforcement – 24 weeks (optional: additional $1,500)

Every other week, meet 1 hr with client to review metrics, marketing test results, keep focus on goals and next steps, answer questions, consult and advise, monitor progress.
